What is your Biblical basis for the nephilim existing after the flood when they were all destroyed?
It will be as it was in the days of Noah in the end times according to the Bible, is that your angle? I'm just genuinely curious on another perspective.
My understanding is he is moving past the bible to show that there are many stories told across the world that seem to have the same stories with different names. The only explanation I can think of which he somewhat started is that after the end of the ice age and the great floods, there were some survivors who have set the course of modern history.

plenty of evidence they werent "all destroyed".
Well I certainly believe they'll come back, or already have, but the Bible is clear that everything was destroyed in the flood.
