I don't speak for Him, but I imagine that it is painful for Him to see some of His Children wallowing in the anguish of another group of His Children. He's probably unhappy enough He has to do what He needs to do to wake them up.
Yes, I know, they wanted us dead.
Yes, I know, He casts out the wicked.
I'm as guilty as the rest of us.

I’ve found that one of the hardest things in life to do is pray for your enemies well-being and actually mean it. I try my best. You can care about them while also thinking they are stupid
If you can look on it as ...once I was like that...it helps.
Maybe not this lifetime ..but some time you were out ig orange and rude too😂😂
Once they were each an innocent-hearted baby and child.
But a prowling lion roams about, especially seeking innocent victims to devour. And the evils of one anothers' actions help facilitate that.
The hideous power of evil found an inroad to get ahold of each of them. Human nature is weakened, and we fall, and get pulled down even deeper.
Which is an immeasurable TRAGEDY to happen to that baby and child.
If they were a family member, friend, neighbor e.g. - we'd urgently and wholeheartedly pray for them, and long them to be fully rescued, forgiven, restored.
God is described as having 'so loved humanity/the world', and expressing that 'It is mercy I desire.'
So if it's possible - keep us all safe from temptation. And deliver us all from evil. All those in most need of mercy - yes all victims, but also the truly pitiable perpetrators.
For me (and so many watching the film Star Wars. e.g.), it felt so spiritually and emotionally right and perfect when Darth Vader turned good again.
I agree. Lord knows I’m nowhere near perfect. It’s really hard to think of these evil people in any kind of good way, but I do try
Yoda was wrong. There is 'Try' - and it's also heroic and powerful.
