Yep, when Trump keeps the corporate media talking about him, even if they are complaining, it puts him in a dominant position over his competitors. It makes it the cabal media vs. Trump. For people who weren’t on the Trump Train in 2015/2016, this is how he campaigns. Expect him to hijack the news cycle every two weeks or so with some new move, and then expect the media to go into meltdown each time. But also expect Trump to consolidate more attention and power each time. Also, stop acting like the 2024 election is a few weeks away. It’s not. You don’t have to worry so much about how some minor current controversy is going to hurt his election chances. If anything, controversy is good.

Even look at Biden. As much as we think all of his gaffes hurt him, they also focus attention on him and magnetize Democrats to his defense. It’s very counter-intuitive but it seems to be true. Trudeau also uses this strategy in Canada. The conservatives waste so much time bitching about him and propping him up that he actually gains power from it. Remember that on both sides of the aisle, we tend to gravitate to the candidates who piss off our opponents the most.
