Well, first of all, the reference to "Nazi" is a term that was never used by Germans themselves. It was an insult coined by Konrad Heiden, a Jewish propagandist. If you want to start with propaganda, that's as good a place as any.
Much of what is discussed today about the Third Reich, is what is known as "bad propaganda." There was actually "good propaganda" in use during that time as well, most famously by Josef Goebbels. There were so many lies during that time being circulated by the bolshevik communists describing the evils of Germany, that it was having an effect on the German populace. Goebbels was instrumental in creating "good propaganda" to remind the German people of their heritage, and their accomplishments, and to ignore the lies being said about them.
I really don't know what you mean when you say, "social control," as that could mean any one of several things. I can say, however, that the reconstruction of Germany following the Weimar Republic was nothing short of miraculous, and the Germans recognized and appreciated all that was done for them to bring them out of the ashes. They enjoyed more freedoms following Weimar, and enjoyed more wealth and success than ever before. The stability of their currency was vitally important.
It's important to note that during this same time frame, the rest of the world was still struggling to overcome the after-effects of the Great Depression.
bad propaganda? GTFO Nazi killed 6 million Jews and 298,000 Americans died because of Nazis. That is not bad propaganda. That is a bad people. The rest of what you commented is just gobbly gook.
If you really spent the time to understand what happened in WWI, The Treaty of Versailles, The Weimar Republic, and WWII, you would know that what you just wrote is more propaganda. The very best records indicate that perhaps 250,000 to 275,000 Jews died in the camps, mostly as the result of typhus. Why would there be hospitals and doctors if the agenda were to execute?
Nazi
1930, noun and adjective, from German Nazi, abbreviation of German pronunciation of Nationalsozialist (based on earlier German sozi, popular abbreviation of "socialist"), from Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei "National Socialist German Workers' Party," led by Hitler from 1920.

This definition is not correct. It's the definition provided by the propagandists themselves, to misdirect where it really came from. This is all part of a massive coverup/psyop.
I think your "history lesson" about Germany needs a second look...
Please tell what needs a second look?
