Most of the prayers I'm seeing seem to be selfish or narrow in scope. This one has a lot of wisdom packed in.

God only gives what you believe for according to His promises. If you pray for patience then there must be the need for patience. That means you are already in difficulty. God didn't put you there, but He will get you out.
