Nobody wanted the job... so I gave it to Jared Kushner.
Literally even more divisive than Elon is. Our side hates the fuck out of Kushner for very little reason.
If he can negotiate peace between the Muslims and jews, then who knows what the man is really capable of.
But if that's a good enough reason for you to hate him, what about Trump and almost all of his appointments? Why praise people like Kash, who seem to be inner circle, but not one of the most inner circle, literally his son in law? Why assume that Kash is a good guy and not his son in law?
The logic is circular. A lot of rumors that were unsubstantiated tainted the bias against Kushner, but people will let any of Trump's other bad decisions slide as "8D multidimensional auto chess part of the plan" but instantly shit on Kushner.
Case in point about Kushner being a bad choice is exactly your statement though.
