Has anyone noticed that ever since the invasion of Ukraine, there has been no COVID variants any more?

Omicron was the last, and then they tried to push monkey pox, but neither did anything public lockdown or fear-wise.

Either because their labs were destroyed in Ukraine, or because they were hoping for the Ukraine/Russia war to be the "new, big, scary, bad" thing that everyone would give up their rights for. A lot of people did, don't get me wrong, but most people have forgotten at this point that there's even any conflict going on.
