I checked the temperature for El Paso Texas tonight and it is saying 26 degrees. My heart is hurting for all those people that were told to come here. They do not have tents or warm clothes. There are many children and innocent victims in this group. I can’t even imagine being in that temperature without any protection. Please Lord Jesus, take care of them tonight.

No. They are not innocent. They chose to violate our law and border.
It's warmer to the south. They can get moving.
Agreed, they are not "innocent". But if you lived in some shithole country and had the chance to come here on the promise of jobs, healthcare, housing, etc would YOU do any different?
I know folks who adopted a girl from Guatemala. The girl's sister has to screw men for money to be able to afford food for the family. The town she lives in is controlled by drug cartels and gangs. They live in a shack with a dirt floor and no running water. Can you really blame someone from wanting to get away from that shit?
I do blame them. Instead of trying to fix their problems, they choose to become someone else's problem. I'm not willing to trade roles with them because their great idea was to bring their problems here.
Wrong idea. Sure, they're technically violating the law, but under this administration, crossing the border is about equivalent to Jaywalking.
They're also still human beings, who just happen to be being manipulated by big gov
I'm not having it. I'm all out of fucks to give. They were manipulated into something, too bad. They can freeze for their folly. Christians used to have balls.
This kind of soft, heart-on-sleeve thinking is making things worse. Time to man up. BRB, time to inject testosterone into my eyeball with a rusty needle.
I’m just not sure how you can justify any human being freezing to death. Sure these people have made mistakes but haven’t we all made mistakes? What did Jesus say about this situation? “He without sin, cast the first stone”. I’m not saying they should be allowed to come into our country illegally but I also don’t want to see them freeze to death. (Especially the children!!)
I suggest you take it up with philosophers and Christian apologetics. The problem of evil is a long standing issue. Could a god have prevented this? Then why didn't He? Why ask him to help now? He's either unable or unwilling. But let's just sit here and pray anyway.
No doubt you would have ceased to breathe if for not the good of others or the intervention of the Good Lord. I can think of no one who hasn't inadvertently placed themselves in danger but somehow came out unscathed.
"They can freeze for their folly" says the Christian.
Romans 3:23
Don't agree with their motivations or lawlessness but I do know we are ALL created in the image of God. Tonight I will pray for their warmth and safety and tomorrow I'll criticize their lawlessness.
I'm not a Christian.
