I've been crying since Sunday. Fuck this gay ass world. So much death, sickness and poverty. Any relevant scripture you might share is appreciated because I'm not seeing any upsides in life anymore.
Look on a period of depression as being seeds of a different mindset germinating in the dark... When the time is right your new world outlook will be revealed to you.
To undergo a change..it is first necessary to discard the old thinking....you can't put new wine in old bottles .....
See yourself as like bulbs growing silently in the dark..ready to burst out into sunlight in the spring

Here's an instructional from Paul to the Philippians about how you should stand firm in the Lord 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Hang in there fren. This has been a hard fought war and we are reaching the end. Cut yourself off from the MSM. If necessary take time off from this site as well. Give your mind some time to calm down and process things.
I totally understand, and validate the way you feel, however, we don’t have to feel that way. I spent quite a few years, being dejected, full of anger, bitterness, resentment, but mostly depression.
Find yourself a Bible, believing church, something like a Calvary Chapel that reads the Bible, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. They cover everything, not just what is comfortable for the congregation. Also, once you find a good church, get involved in a men’s or women’s Bible study. They generally meet every week. This is great for building, a good foundation of friends, and people to pray for you. Also, read one proverb, and one psalm each day, and contemplate on God’s word. Continue to reach out to him, because he has so many great plans for us believers.
I look at what’s happening in the world today. It’s a good thing, because it means we’re getting closer to the end, of God’s plan… Because he wins! Well, he already has won, and that is comforting to me.

I totally understand. I’ve spent most of my life with depression, and going through these times can be quite difficult. But since I’ve given my life back to Christ, and I’m following the above given advice, my life has really been much better. God bless and have a great day and a merry Christmas.
