Was Santa Claus created to divert from Jesus?

After going through the fall of the cabal i kept getting this feeling that Santa was only created to distract us from Jesus during Christmas...No other religion has this, same with easter and a fucking rabbitt

I'm from the US South and we didn't do either of those things.

About the only difference was banana pudding.

My mother made that every time the bananas got too ripe. Never had it since I moved out 40 years ago.
