Some illegal knocked a warden phone box off the wall, causing the phone itself to come off the cradle. When you take the phone off the cradle, it sends a signal to the fire command station that someone is trying to communicate. Of course, none of them said a damn thing about, probably because they don't want to tell anyone they did something wrong or bad. Thing is, I have to answer it every single time as I cannot assume that it's not an emergency.
That's the kind of thing that can cause problems, like if one of them were to pull the fire alarm, or somehow knock one off the wall. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't say anything.

my problem is the murder, rape, property destruction, theft, tax evasion, collection of government benefits... south america literally empties out their prisons, hands them all a red cross instruction booklet, and sends them to our border

yes it is, but it enables them to work for less than minimum wage, giving them an unfair advantage, so until those laws change its a problem. go into austin, there's illegals on every corner offering unskilled labor for cash so they dont have to claim it, and receive low-income benefits as well.

I think that the originator countries don't want these guys back.

They send them to sanctuary cities (remember the mayor who danced because his city was ok'd as sanctuary city and HE got $$$$ for it) who suddenly dont want them either.
So whatever city they are shipped to those citizens should have their gun laws revoked so they can protect themselves and BUY MORE GUNS..
