Good comment - it was like that. One of the things that spooked me was Jordan getting his wings clipped. For a while there I thought he was going to resurface as a trusted voice to narrate the story of the defeat of the cabal. For him to come out of it with a 1000 yard stare and a big money income is quite jarring. He has been made into a mind-space weapon.
