#9 is perhaps the biggest one we need to discuss because people don't even know it exists.
People think the Constitution limits the people, when in fact it limits the government. People think the Government "gives" them rights. Until they understand this basic principle, that our rights come from God, they will always mis-interpret the Constitution and what it means to be an American.
Not part of the Bill of Rights, but the 13th Amendment for anyone paying spousal maintenance or child support. My ex had an affair, committed financial/contract fraud, and is purposely earning less income than she’s capable, but I’m forced by the state under penalty of law to pay her spousal maintenance for a certain amount of time. I also have 50% custody of our children, but I have to pay her child support, again because she’s purposely earning less income. I don’t agree to pay these things, but I’m forced to by the state, or else I go to jail. Family courts violate children’s and parent’s rights all the time.
This is why I understand where MGTOW is coming from when they say "don't marry."
Thanks to how the laws are set up, the woman has everything to gain from breaking the contract.
1st, 2nd, 4th, and 10th.
The 10th amendment is missing from the list, and has been ignored for nearly 100 years. This gives anything not enumerated in the constitution to the states.
