Seeing Elon go full Morpheus is quite the spectacle, but WHY is he dropping this meme? And why now? ......

Everyone called Elon a non-starter, but not me.
They said he was a nerd and never saw the front lines, but they don't know much about war for being veterans.
Riflemen aren't on the front lines, they're supporting elements now.
It's the Speakers for the Bread that are on the front lines.
Balls of steel that man, not that he isn't scared. Mostly just sad.
And unlike the analogous representation of him via the Miles character in the new Glass Onion film, the real Elon isn't an idiot.

Old Elon realized he and his children would never have their dreams.
He took escape pod money and dumped it into Twitter, not for us. For his own survival. A tentative allegiance.
Everyone can have a seat at the table if they follow the rules.
Even the Evil One, but not the true Usurper. The Void.
Self-preservation, like all of the "disrupters" in the movie Glass Onion... assuming you've seen it already. If you haven't, I think you'll like it, and then better understand my comparisons.
Elon isn't necessarily a hero, not in the proper sense. But an enemy of my enemy is my friend. Perhaps there's still hope for him to truly embrace the light, [spoiler] like the ending of the movie. In any case, as long as what he's doing now helps in the war, then that's a good thing.
