Adams has needed a talking-to like that for a long, long time. He still has several more notches that he needs to be taken down IMHO but that was epic.
Also, he's never been "one of us." He's admitted from the outset that his personal politics are far to the left of anyone on the scene, including the Democrats; and was only pimping Trump because of the president's persuasion ability, one of the two things Adams actually is qualified to comment on (the other being simple-minded doodles that are basically the cartoon equivalent of, say, David Letterman: they think they're a LOT funnier than they actually are :).
What's most amusingly ironic is that Adams projects the attitude that he believes he's an overarching genius able to perceive what we idiots cannot; but he wasn't smart enough to figure out that even LOOKING like he supported Trump would be financial suicide. He was so quick to bathe in self-adulation over his OWN persuasion expertise and keen observational skills that his $100,000 per day speaking gigs dried up almost instantly. Maybe now he's trying to out-left the biofascist left in a desperate attempt to claw back some credibility. Sad!
(If biofascism isn't a word for use of bioterrorism, medical authoritarianism, and fear of disease pandemics to enrich pharma corporations and enslave society under a yoke of fear, it is now. :)
