Happy to say I worked there for years in college. Good dude who made a good company; proud to say I was employed by him and I encourage anyone to go there over woke ass Subway and other competitors. Fearlessly telling the truth, don't worry about anything else.
There's not even a comparison. Even in it's heyday, when there was a Subway on literally every corner, I would dread when my co-workers would excitedly choose to go. I think my appetite waned while standing in line, watching everyone before me turn into a snarling Karen, making sure their sandwich was absolutely perfect by choosing each topping one by one, slowing down the line. So I would get up there and choose my toppings, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions. The sandwich "artist" would grab a metric fuckton of lettuce, put it on the sadwich and look to me for further instruction. Tomato, pickles, onions. They would put three thin slices of tomatoes and then look to me for further instruction. Pickles, onions. Pickles would go unevenly onto the sadwich and I would get a look for further instruction.
Then I discovered JJ's and found that they took the choose your own adventure out of the equation. Even when they are slammed, I'm in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.
Lol, it's the deliberate overlapping triangle cheese that bewilders me at Subway 🐸
