It was right after a tackle. Could it have been a cervical break, which impacts breathing 100% (like Christopher Reeve's accident).

Yes, I read that later. Didn't realize he had gotten up and walked a couple of steps. Sounds just like a clot was dislodged.

A hit that light on NFL chest protection? I doubt very much anything broke. I'm calling thrombosis. A dislodged clot firing straight into his heart or brain.
