If ol' Clott Adams would have just taken the 'L' like Dogbert suggested, he would've been fine. Now, due to the Streisand Effect, lots and lots of people have seen this cartoon, and have been having a great laugh - Ben Garrison's spoof of ol' Clott is fantastic, lots of deeper meanings in it, too (hypnotism, gold-digging ex-wife, Dogbert in a fauci mosquito torture box, etc.
I didn't catch the dog was in a torture box.

Take the Loss. Clott Adams lost this trolling battle, in epic fashion, to a better cartoonist.
Fauci apparently ran experiments on beagles and other docile animals, penning them up with virus-laden mosquitos, there are some disturbing images online. Trolling Clott with his own Dilbert character was some next-level genius 4-D chess type stuff. I still chuckle about it.
