Credentialism is falling apart. People only trust the "papers please" paradigm so long as it has monetary value.
You notice how there's no doctors taking patients anymore? It's all nurse practitioners. They're having to lower the bar for that writ of slavery we call a degree more and more, as the price goes up and up, only to find hospitals can't find enough slaves to pack their doctorate levels.
Not to mention the die-off from the "vaccines" taking a lot out of the system...
A similar situation occurs in any other religion, and yes I'm alluding to the fact the Medical Industry is a religion. Doctors are priest, nurses are nuns, office staff are the evangelists. If you try to leave, they will excommunicate you. They get government protections and have their own prayers and mantras -- a la "Follow the Science."
Doctors and Nurses are starting to realize they are part of a cult denomination of the Rockefeller Church of Modern Medicine™
Universities and Colleges, too, are realizing the Credentialism dynamic is a sinking ship. The more people they hand out their fancy papers to, the less important the reward is. Jehovah's witnesses who go door to door understand this problem -- the more people you recruit, the more competition you make as the person you convert now has to meet their own quotas. Soon, you run out of people to evangelize and you summarily lower the standards so you can get your shiny gold star instead of actually spread your faith. That's when things go tits up.
Medical practitioners are starting to realize this, coupled with the disillusionment that's widespread right now. Soon, they'll realize their little degree actually means about as much as any other participation award they hand out to kids like candy these days.
The only reason they would actively push this unpopular legislation, this late in the game, is because they know the cult is in the last death knells of their own clergy turning on the host and have to offer the stick over the carrot to keep the rats from jumping ship. This is a desperation play to have the most loyal keep the suspicious ones in check. Happens in the mafia, too.
Gotta make some power plays to ensure no one joins the rival gangs or tries running their own rackets. When you train a drug dealer to deal drugs, his loyalty only lasts so long as your ability to protect him. Once you show you can't provide his cover, he's better off risking it on his own.
Effectively eliminating informed consent.
This will backfire on them.

👌👍
How about passing a bill that charges doctors for misinformation and not doing their research on drug safety.
