From what I know he may have got 2 shots. And the second shot may have been around a year ago, possibly 2021. Anyway after the second shot he began to feel crappy and it scared him to the point that he wasn't going to get anymore. Unfortunately throughout the year he sustained at least 3 fainting spells, but never pursued it and never went to see a doctor.
He was a big guy, also diabetic - so, there's your "comorbidities." On the afternoon of December 22nd, 2022 his wife returned home and found him lying on the floor with a faint pulse.
The hospital listed his death as "post-Covid" and we're not sure how they knew that, other than that he tested "positive" a few months ago. And the death certificate states "underlying heart condition" and "age" as to his cause of death.
He had a heart attack, ultimately. But, no autopsy because the ER doctors said that wasn't necessary as they did not suspect foul play, and the family didn't request it.
So, there goes yet another statistic. Being 69 years old is apparently a reason why one dies these days.
As a 33 year old I've only ever known people to typically die in their mid 80s or early 90s, I know you have rare cases here or there but considering his health seemed to go downhill following the shots, which I tried my hardest to tell people to avoid, it is now our belief as to why he ultimately died so early.
I think it takes a death like this for some people to start thinking about it. My Fiance says she thinks the shots are a contributing factor. And luckily due to my constant bombardment of begging her to be cautious she has avoided them as well. My Father ultimately listened too. My Father was on the fence about the vaccine himself as last year it was coming down to if it would be required for his job, and he also went to the union about it and they flat out told him they wouldn't support him.
But his vaccine mandate never came to be so he simply never got the vaccine. But now he's telling me about how there have been 8 Purdue sports alumnis 10-15 years younger than him that have all died recently, and I believe his viewing of the "Died Suddenly" movie has him thinking about it as well.
It's far too late for many and it saddens me significantly. I never thought someone's death could make me so sad, considering I lost my own Mother 10 years ago, watched her die, and have witnessed all of my grandparents die. This recent death with my Fiance's Father is much difference because it wasn't expected at all. Even the opening sentence in his obituary also says "died suddenly."
For my in-law all it took were 1 or 2 shots to seal the deal. Aren't they on #7 now??
I have heard people say 5th booster. Not sure its #5 or #7. I always hoped it meant #5 but who knows at this point.
5th booster + first two base shots. Eventually the free subscription service runs out. Without high demand, the boosters will cost $500/mo.
Seal the deal on them not taking anymore, you mean?
Dead, unfortunately. Sealed the deal wit relatively few shots.
Oh wow. I’m sorry to hear that. What health issue took them?
