Because the vacate chair option has just been reinstated. Which means that at any time, any member of the House can put forward a motion to take ANOTHER vote to see if the Chair remains.

You are totally not reading the situation. Put on your anon thinking cap, look beyond the surface appearances, and understand.

McCarthy is completely controlled now by Maga (Trump). It's a step by step process, now. The Uniparty is not in control.
