You can tell much about people by how they embrace nicknames.

If he was a true MAGA supporter, "eye patch McCain" sounds like a tough-as-fuck moniker. Or, you know, 'Based MAGA Pirate" or something. But with skin much too thin, flawed sensibilities far too easily offended, and feathers so easily ruffled by things trivial, it is obvious he is NOT.
