I agree. Trump siding with electing Kevin complicated the Swamps plan to have selected democrats cross the aisle so Kevin didnt need Rebel Republican votes

With Trump siding with Kevin, risk/reward calculations changed., .Any democrat who voted for kevin would face A progressive primary challenger in less than 2 years. This challenger would screech "OMG he installed Drumps guy as Speaker! Primary him!!!!"

Fwiw, Leftist/Progressive influencers like Jimmy Dore have been praising the MAGA House Rebels resisting Kevin's Coronation. Influencers have contrasted the MAGA Rebels with Progressives who bent over for Pelosi. Consequently, these influencers would be likely to amplify attacks on Establishment democrats during the upcoming primaries.
