Serious question. If they were so concerned with the crazies on the right holding the House hostage, why the living hell didn't they vote for McCarthy before a deal had to be made with the "crazies"????? The left could have gotten him in on the first round of voting. Throw a handful of retiring reps his way and it never goes the way it did. Are they stupid?

Yes, and no. They weren't allowed to vote any other way. I wonder why? ;o)
