Notes. One subject at a time is bigger than it looks and will help a lot. The 72-hour rule is not really new, it's been around and hasn't helped that much, but the new part appears to be that one loophole is being closed relating to calendar Wednesdays. The Jefferson rule allows any congresscritter to introduce a privileged resolution to vacate the chair, but it still requires a majority to pass, so it works like a no-confidence vote; looks very big IMHO. "Church Committee" is that Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government (let's call it SScWFG and pronounce it scow-frog), and it may be the biggest concession of all. The budget measures collectively sound very good.
The rescinding of IRS funding is likely to be less of a biggie because it just means the IRS doesn't get to do what it planned, but whatever it started to do already probably won't be undone, so it sounds big but isn't. I think prohibitions of tax-funded abortion is great news. Requirement to care for survivors of abortion is even greater news; I previously listed a number of adults who survived abortion when they were born and this turns around the infanticide window. A couple of pieces that do not originate in the Republican negotiations are likely given their time too; I can't imagine that the Lantos HRC refers to something I'm interested in our government pursuing.
All good news, but the good news needs to continue.
Thank you.. I'm not keen on ciphering info like y'all..

Your welcome !
Thank you, to all the men and women who voted those MAGA conservatives to the house. This is a good start to a great year. God bless all of you and Gob bless the Republic.
Where is "Build the Wall?" If Trump really wanted his signature on this list, that would be in there.
