I'm leaning towards this being fake. This REALLY needs digging. I can't find anything about this "Armed Forces Press". There used to be an Armed Forces Press Service that disbanded in 1972, and there was a similar one (American Forces Press Service) that merged with other services in 2014. I think someone may have taken the name and is acting "official".
It is possible something happened after 2014 but try searching for "Armed Forces Press". I couldn't find anything and most searches point to either the old version or the new (fake?) one and their social media.
Any other vets out there ever hear about this place?
That said - I remember all the "smoke" about DoD developing a vaccine way back when, so it is possible the info may be true. Even if the agency is fake or not official.
