I swear, the right needs a few editors. Why is it there are always minor mistakes that I just know will be latched on to?
Good messaging that I just know will be ignored in favor of "HEY LOOK AT THE DUMB CONSERVATIVES RAHRAHRAHRAHRAH".
Now that said, Boebert's one of the best and a good cookie. I do believe that official releases of any kind should be properly read over by an aide though.
Although on the flip side, commonly made mistakes indicate more of a likelihood that the person actually wrote it themself, as opposed to ghost writing.
True that, but when ever I write something formally I always ensure I read it multiple times, take a step away for a few minutes, come back and read it again, etc.
It's completely different from when I try to portray my way of talking or tone through text as I often try to do on forums or chat rooms. On here, I'll make grammatical errors or twist the English language to try and show a playful attitude, or I'll let my impulses guide me because of my enthusiasm.
I guess I've just seen too many people refocus viewers away from the messaging to tiny errors that it becomes an internalized cringe reaction when I see small errors on official documents.
Oh I completely get it. I find myself proofreading nearly everything I write, several times. But so many people don't even proofread once. Given how shallow most of our politicians are, I'd bet that most are actually terrible writers, the result of lacking practice actually writing.
..... Might want to proofread that. LOL !!
