The only people I fault for dodging Vietnam are the people who also voted for LBJ in 1964. LBJ increased the number of Americans in Vietnam every year of his administration so that the all time high of over half million Americans was in LBJ’s last year of 1968. So by voting for him in 1964, people were voting to draft other people. Bernie was born in 1941 and in 1962 he turned 21 which was the voting age at the time. So it’s very possible that Bernie at 23 voted for LBJ. If so, he should’ve gone to Vietnam himself instead of having other people go who were too young to vote in 1964.
It is just you, because my way was direct, not roundabout, and my thoughts aren’t contradictory. It’s simple:
if you voted for escalation of Vietnam by voting for LBJ in 64, then you should’ve gone to Vietnam
if you didn’t vote for LBJ, then you had a moral right to dodge Vietnam
It can be applied to Bernie also in a consistent way. If Bernie voted for Goldwater, then Bernie had a moral right to dodge Vietnam. Nugent, born in 1948, was only 16 in 1964, so he definitely had a moral right to dodge Vietnam.

Sounds like a round about way of justifying your contradictory thoughts but that’s just me

So you admit you want Bernies and nugents pp in your mouth, good, now we can move about our day. He’s a pretender and all talk. Straight up.
