We can’t change their minds or protect them, which is a natural instinct with us as parents or grandparents. I pray, as I hope all of you do, that many are spared. I know I’m not the only one out there worried about all of this and afraid for loved ones.

Worry comes with being awake. I, like many of us, have carried this burden for a very long time. Ruined a lot of sleep, some relationships, and some otherwise fun times for me.
To this day I try to remind myself I can only control how I react to reality, and to accept the things I cannot change. I can still try to influence, but I cannot blame myself cuz I tried.
Serenity Prayer often is on repeat in my head and has been alot these past few years.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference
