All of this is grandstanding. Everyone knows that none of what they do as far as bills will go anywhere. Because they all know this is dead on arrival, they can put on a good show for the base. It really means nothing in the end. We have seen this movie before. Give us the Senate and the WH and we can finally get things done. Then, just like in 2016, they choke when it counts. So excuse me if I don't get all excited about the show. When they actually cut the funds using the power of the purse, then I will pay attention.
