It wasn't too long ago that a LOT of people thought the world would come to an end when we went from 2000 to 2001. (Didn't happen.)

364 passengers and pilots thought they would arrive at their destination safely, in the lap of the 737 MAX MCAS program.

Not everything is a lie, and computerized systems are subject to fault and failure.

You may be right. I thought the fear was what would happen when the number advanced to 2001, because all the world's software had no register space for anything higher than 2000.
