I said yesterday that restaurants use mainly gas to cook with. How many restaurants are going to buy new electric stoves? How will that effect food preparation? I see way too many downsides with this one. Mainly because it would effect too many wealthy people who like their gas stoves.
Pressure-canning food isn't safe with anything but gas. I have no plans to give mine up. Just saying..

Try telling a Chef that they can't cook with gas (just not while they have a knife in their hand).
There is always a COMMERCIAL exemption, just like in California in regards to the ban of gasoline small equipment like lawn mowers and snow blowers.
Like how gun bans have carve outs for LEOs.
