I worked at an Atlas rocket launch site. The two engineers in the telemetry room would have the radio on and I heard this guy talking about women activists and Feminazis. I was only catching bits and pieces of this guy and I was more concentrating on what I had to do for work. But Rush pissed me off, the little I heard. (I encountered a very chauvinistic work world in the USAF and in the launch business initially and I didn’t understand how the CIA was really pushing the whole women’s movement.)
Fast forward a few years and my husband discovered him and got me listening to him. I attribute some of my now-natural optimism to Rush. He could always find the bright spots and pick me up, even during the Obama years.

Oh, how I miss him!
