Michigan is already being punished, especially small business owners. Restaurants will be required to pay 12.00 per hour minimum wage to servers, if the appeal by owners doesn't stop it. It would go into effect on February 20. We are already making plans to change our entire service procedure if this happens, as we wouldn't be able to afford to stay open. I hear the cries of those who know nothing about how very slim the profit margins are in the restaurant business, crying about how "cheap" we are. Unless they want to pay $40 to sit down and be served a plate of spaghetti, they better hope this gets stopped.

$15.50/hour here in CA. Fast food and restaurant prices are ridiculous.
