It is each individuals responsibility to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and God as the one true God. Telling people the truth of God and Jesus is all we can do. They have to chose. And as most people do, there will be a time that they turn to God or they turn away. There is no "git gud" in this. People have to chose for themselves.
This is why America is wonderful, freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion. That leaves people to freely chose Christ as salvation instead of by force or intimidation. What more could a Christian nation be than to freely let people chose if they want to worship God or not.
"Telling" versus showing by who we are and inspiring curiousity?
Its impossible to provide answers until a person has genuine questions. Since each person is unique sits best to guide the person as they discover those answers for themselves rather than "telling" them your answers.
