At least 74 Illinois sheriff's offices have publicly vowed to defy a recent gun-control law signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, which banned assault weapons.

I would imagine if the surrounding counties bailed and separated, there would be an influx of available funds so severe it would cause near immediate failure. All those surrounding counties are paying for most of it right? That brown hobbit would declare a state of emergency
