It’s not a joke.
One of our family friends is scared to death, to the extend that the rest of his family cannot live normal life. Their contacts with others are limited to minimum.
We cannot meet them but our wives spend ours on video calls … being in the same multi-flat building!
Yesterday in the grocery store I saw a man in the mask who asked why he is the only masked person in the store. They way he has asked the question didn’t look as he was wondering - it was more a complaint than everyone else don’t wear masks.
I would have replied “because you’re the only brain dead person in the store” And what have you done to try and convince your neighbor there’s nothing to be scared of?
So it's not addiction to the narrative that's the problem; it's fear.
Fear of...death?
