Pfizer is still fighting and settling lawsuits claiming Lipitor causes type II diabetes. Space Dr. Duane Graveline took Lipitor and claimed it causes memory loss. Let buyers beware.

Not news for me there. I know about their scamdemic. It only benefit the pharmaceutical.
You are right about most eating the wrong stuffs and sitting too much.
High cholesterol isn't caused by what you eat -- it usually indicates that you have a bigger health issue going on, most likely with the heart, kidneys or thyroid. A body naturally eliminates excess cholesterol via poop, so you can eat a ton of high cholesterol foods and it will go through you if your body is functioning normally. The bigger issue is something is causing your body to make more cholesterol than it should (this indicates kidney or heart disease) or it isn't clearing out the cholesterol like it should (this indicates heart or thyroid disease).
That's a great way to look at the problem. Thanks.
Good call here.
There has never been a study that has proven that dietary cholesterol becomes your cholesterol. The body eliminates what it does not need, as you state.
Also, it is important for people to recognize that we are literally made from cholesterol. Our cell walls need cholesterol as a building block.
The entire "cholesterol bad for Grugg" thing is maddening. We cannot seem to get off this bad idea. And this bad idea is killing millions, and destroying quality of life for tens of millions.
I'm pretty sure Vitamin D is made from cholesterol. So they artificially lower your cholesterol to make vitamin D production more difficult for your body. And there are a lot of diseases where one of the hallmarks is low Vitamin D, including the kidney disease that I have and several kinds of cancers.
Btw, I typically say that there is no “cold and flu season”. There is only low vitamin D season.
I do think that D is deeply important and that many maladies come from a shortage of it.
