The grand total of the power of the Vice President is to break a tie vote in the Senate. That's it.
Then if the President becomes unable to fulfill his duties, the Vice President becomes the acting president.
The Vice President has zero ability to classify or declassify anything.
They want to equate what he has done with what they're trying to pin on Trump.
Because that little issue is too hard to bear. It will illuminate that Trump did nothing wrong, and yet the Dems visibly sent FBI goons to raid MaL, for the supposed crime.
If it becomes publicly known that Biden's stash was AKSshually illegal, then they must come down harder than Trump's raid, to remain fair in the public's eye.
Right now they are comfy with saying that it is the same kind of crime (It obviously is not, but they are keeping it under wraps), and setting up a committee.
