Any form of collectivism has to fail. It's like that saying "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link". If that "weakest link" is a person or group of people who set out to paint themselves as weak- meaning that they don't want to do anything and want everything done for them - others in the chain will notice and will gradually stop putting effort in. Why bother doing your best when you can see others doing nothing and still getting the same rewards that you do?
