JWs don't take blood. they have an incredible history on this subject. they've won many times in court over the rt to refuse blood due to religious beliefs. that aside, u may wanna look into what alternatives do actually work.

I'm not JW, but I believe the same, including transplants or use of donor fluid, cells, tissue, or any rDNA drugs. Is "playing God" in my opinion.
So you mean to tell me that if you or a loved one needed a transfusion to stay alive, you'd deny and let yourself or that loved one die?
Myself, yes, others can make their own choices.
we r guided by r personal study n r conscience. God knows r heart
Watchtower teachings on medical advice have varied wildly over the years. Organ Transplants is one of these areas. Over the years a Jehovah's Witness: Could have a transplant-1949
Could not have a transplant -1967, 1975
Could have a transplant-1980 https://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/quotes/transplants.php
lol ikr!!!!
They have used blood expanders for some time now. JWs have always been demonized for the decision not to take blood but because of their stance and push on the medical community alternatives are out there.
yes, i started following their no blood stance history in early 70s. court cases r interesting including the ones to do w their kids. i knew of a 10 yo who developed leukemia. he was treated w/o blood n now he's 40(?). imo it would be a good idea for ppl to set aside their religious bias n look into this.
Yes, I found a Swiss or Austrian research regarding this 5 or 6 years ago.
Unfortunately, the last years my mother had to take it occasionally due to cases of emmergency = very low levels. Probably her meds are reducing the blood/iron over time.
But our food is our medcine: Nettle, beet root, cherry, liver, ... and more!
