Yeah that was pretty much my 12 years of schooling, still getting through the trauma
My first week in school, one of my most early and clearest memories. My parents decided that we all needed to be able to read as early as possible - I used to read in bed before sleep before I went to school.
Anyway teacher was trying to get one of my friends to learn the alphabet - I told her I could read and I needed a book. She gave me one of those retard books with 7 words per page ("The cat sat on the mat" kind of shit). My young mind thought "that's weird but OK - she's the teacher - I'll do what she says".
Three minutes later I was back saying "OK, I read that". The look of pure hatred and frustration on that bitch face of hers is still with me - imagine figuring out at the age of 5 that the teacher hate you for having an education?
I had a similar experience at middle school, I was 7 years old and the vapid bitch teacher spelled "their" incorrectly in a sentence she wrote on the board. I pointed it out to her and kept arguing with dumb cow about it so much that she went to get another teacher (a male) who confirmed that I was right. Ok so I was an emotionally stunted, insensitive asshole who embarrassed her in front of the whole class (But FFS I was just a kid and she was teacher who couldn't fucking spell).
I think my trust issues with trusting people in authority dated back to those long-past days.
Even back then, teachers weren't educators.
