When your lefty friends or family mention "electric vehicles", scrunch up your face like you don't understand what they are talking about and ask (as earnestly as possible), "What do you mean by electric vehicle? What is that?".
When they sigh heavily and start talking about Tesla, get this look of sudden understanding on your face and say, "Oh! You mean those COAL powered vehicles! Ok, go on..."
You'll get one of two reactions. They'll either argue with you that "Teslas are not coal powered!", or they'll get confused and ask, "What do you mean, coal powered?"
Then, educate them. It's been working well for me so far.
Sorry, my Bible doesn't contain anything about abandoning your friends and family because they disagree with you.
Off the electric car topic, but closely related.
I'm not the most knowledgeable, but I've never come across any verses that instructs me to keep going back to them for abuse everyday. Disagreements are one thing, but many families, communities, cities, states, public and private companies abandoned those who refused the untested, DNA altering virus. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm still too pissed to care about "offering the olive branch" to those who greatly harmed me, my family, my formerly successful business and my former employees. Have you noticed the HUGE push on climate change agendas? Go against that and just like covid...you're an evil to the bone leper to them. That said, I've moved on from them to join a much better class of people in a state that values God-given freedoms.
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Be careful that you and your better class of people aren't so busy patting each other on the back that you miss the rapture...
Why are you trying to argue with me? If you've cut out all people who disagree with you from your life, then my original post doesn't apply to you, does it?
Hate the Bible and Jesus? So be it. Move along, son.
Hate the Bible and Jesus....that's an Olympic record in the broad jump.
Perhaps on the surface to the uneducated. If you were to take a moment and review M42D's comment history, you wouldn't have wasted both our time posting that.
there was this guy Lot.. he had to leave town and he took his wife and god said " hey don't look back at that place when you leave " she looked back, and when she wasn't following him... he didn't.
When the Creator of the Universe instructs me to turn my back on my fellow man, I will comply. Until then, I intend to love my neighbor as myself.
You guys sure are desperate to get me to hate my friends and neighbors... why is that?
I don't see it that way. But everyone has their own situation. Some sheep have been incredibly petulant and cruel through all of this, and I think it would be hard to forgive someone that was wishing death on me or my family for doing the right thing against social pressures. Personally, I think I could get over it in regard to the sheeple, they didn't know and now have to contend with the consequences of trusting the wrong people to tell them what to do with very important life decisions. As for those people that used their power and influence to maxmize the casualties of this pandemic narrative, God can forgive them as far as I am concerned.
I was able to do this about 10 years ago. Had a new neighbor, American, but had been in Sweeden working for about 8 years.
He shows up with a battery or corded push lawn mower. I happened to get home from work before dark that day and wandered over...."Gotcha a coal powered lawn mower huh? Cool"
Totally broke his ooda loop.
👍🏻 It works!
Don't have lefty friends and family.
That's certainly an option, but not really related to my post, is it?
One of the advantages of EDS (Elon Derangement Syndrome) is that now they have started hating EVs anyways.
the further down the chain from the source of the power that the engine is, the less efficient it is. as a general rule, more links in the chain cause more opportunities for inefficiency. so your car has the combustion happening right inside. The electric car has the combustion happening miles and who know how many substations in between.. an actual coal powered car might make more efficient use of the fuel consumption.
A quick question to ask them is.... How long will it take to recharge one of these electric vehicles, or let's say: I hope you're prepared to pay the electric bill because recharging that vehicle will be expensive.
Im from WA state. Most of the grid here is powered by hydro. I wont tell anyone tho
I tell them unless they're charging their Tesla with solar or a windmill its just pretend. Pisses them off every time
You could bring up Steam powered vehicles as a viable alternative. They are actively being used in other countries.
Explanation: in 2000, I was selected to go to North Korea for humanitarian MIA/POW recovery mission. We were located approximately 10Km (6 miles) south of the Korean-China border.
Before we were transfered to the work site, we were housed in a hotel. During this time our crew were witness to the transportation methods used by the hard working farming communities. There were occassional diesel truck, but the majority of equipment used were steam powered. Tractors & dump trucks were chugging along in both directions on the road across the river from our hotel. There was a water tower and a stock of cord wood at the ready. I watched several times vehicles stop and replenish and once the fly wheel got up to speed, off they went chugging again.
They made it work. Maybe our liberal socialist loving citizens should join in and enjoy the fruits of communism??
BTW.. We recovered 9 American remains and re-patrioted them on American soil.
