It was about reintroducing Freedom of Speech in a world fraught with propaganda, censorship, and Orwellian control of information.
Elon recognizes the power and importance of the citizen intelligence apparatus. He knows that the legacy media will die, and citizen journalism will take its place.
Musk was the top military contractor under Trump. No way the deep state would let a rogue billionaire buy their top propaganda platform and expose all their crimes. He had to have had help from the military
The "Citizen Journalist" is the VERY Foundation of Freedom and the legacy media a dying on the vine, so to speak...And Elon Musk KNOWS that it is ONLY a matter of time before the "legacy" media CHANGES OR goes by the wayside!!!
The media narratives are so idiotic. First, how do they know what his revenues are since twitter is a private company? Second, I’m sure his profits have increased after cutting costs/capital expenditures (useless employees and expensive real estate). Although, I guess we can consider reduction in special government collaboration funding may have decreased revenues. 🤓
Twitter was losing $4,000,000 per day before Elon took over. Despite the DS trying to hurt him with the drop in ad revenue, Twitter has better financials now than it ever had.

We are the news now.

Would love to see Elon sell Twitter to DWAC for $1.
I'd like to second that motion.

I have to hand it to Elon. He looks just like the current "governor" of Michigan.

Looking at a drop in revenue is misleading if you don't also look at the drop in costs.
I believe the bottom line is profits.
