Really interesting...I hadn't heard about Dicyanin before, but i did hear about 1st gen night vision, which was red vs the green they changed to. Cliff High mentioned Vietnam chopper gunners freaking out and open firing at what appeared to be nothing to the naked eye before they discontinued use...guys were seeing demons and all kinds of shit that were essentially flipping them the bird and egging them on (scaring the crap out of them - rightfully so!) - making them open fire.
