How about plastering Uncle Joe "I did that" stickers on egg displays at the grocery stores? It was cool to see those stickers on the gas pumps, but those prices have come down a couple of bucks since the sticker challenge was enacted and I don't see as many gas pump stickers as I used to. How about a new "I did that" campaign with eggs?

Meanwhile I just paid 2.99 for a dozen large eggs because I'm not buying soy boy pampered quail eggs like you. I'm sorry you're overpaying for a basic staple and it's breaking your brain so much.
I like it. I have put some on the plastic wrap on steaks - can't pull those off too easy so the store either has to leave them like that or re wrap 'em. Nice thing with egg cartons - you could put the sticker on the inside so only the purchaser will see them either while looking at the store (who doesn't open the carton to look for cracked eggs?) or once they get them home.

What eggs are you buying? I just paid 2.99 at an Aldi in NC. Everytime I see people whining about high egg prices I ask them to show the receipt and it's always some soy fed fancy chicken eggs.
I usually buy Egg-land Best brand (Jumbo size).
When I was at the store on Friday, I saw that the Egg-land brand and Werner brand were the ones marked on sale for $7.99 (on sale from $9). The Kroger brand was cheaper for that same size, which I ended up buying.
I did take a picture on my phone to show my husband and for myself because I couldn’t believe it.
Ok, how much was the Kroger brand?
Of course name brand eggs are more expensive. I paid 2.99 for Aldi brand, and $3.29 for Kroger brand in the last week.
I bought the Kroger brand, extra large, and they were $3.79 doz.
