The Boxer - boxer dogs are buy and far one of the most entertaining pets you can ever own. They have so much personality, and you know when they’re holding a grudge. They are so full of energy and quite comical. We’ve had three, but the last one had to be put down last year because of cancer. I don’t get me started on that topic.
I do love the arctic fox and I think they are really pretty, however I live in Arizona, so I’m just gonna stick with the coyote. From time to time we see them walking down our street, like no big deal. Lol… we have lots of rabbits in our area so they come for the snacks.
Also - on a sidenote, I do pet sitting for my job now. It’s really interesting to see all the different breeds of dogs and cats for that matter.
One breed that does get a bad rap, are pit bulls. I specialize in large dogs, and aggressive dogs that other sitters don’t want to deal with. You just have to know how to handle these type of animals. It turns out, as long as the owner is not around, I never have any problems with these aggressive dogs. 9 times out of 10. It’s the owner. Every time.
I just got done watching a female pitbull for four days, she was the nicest, sweetest dog, however; I would not put a pitbull in a house with other animals or small children. It’s just a smart thing to do. Also, as a woman… Walking a pitbull, always makes you feel extra safe for some reason. Lol.
Yeah, it is almost always the owner. Funny, seems to have a parallel in kids...
So true!
Parenting is a skill that people need to learn. I took a Christian parenting class when I had my daughter. I was a single mother and I wanted to make sure that I didn’t raise a daughter that would make the same mistakes that I did. Turns out the classes were fantastic. Raising your kids God’s way!
But the animals… People are so lenient with bad behaviors of their animals. It just blows my mind, that anybody would allow a pet poo or pee in the house, jump up on people, and lick people. It’s as if they love the animals so much, they give them a pass on everything. It’s not that hard to train an animal, I just takes time, dedication, and consistency.
