I have 3 lbs. of 130,000 cayenne pepper. It gets more use than table salt. Ever mix some cayenne in organic jelly? It's sweet, hot, and nasty! I love it on toast in the morning.
Because of my age, I watch my intake of sugar for obvious reasons, but also reasons based on Nature. Plants use sugars to attract animals to eat. This is typically in the form of fruit that have seeds and the mechanism is that the seeds pass through the animal and is deposited in feces that fertilize the next generation of fruit bearing plant.
In plants sugar is also used to attract insects for pollination and in the case of the Venus fly trap and other 'carnivorous' plants used to attract and trap insects. Honey bees make and store honey for the cold winter months when there aren’t enough flowers to feed on. Honey contains 82.4 percent sugar (carbohydrates) and bees use it to fuel the high demands that their work requires.
Bottom line is that sugar is an energy booster. Dr. Zelenko prompted me to think about a statement he made about his 'COVID' protocol. He said-- "Zinc is the bullet. It kills the virus". Quercetin gets zinc inside the cell.
Well, is it possible that Capsaicin helps sugar inside the cell for energy? Capsaicin will stop a heart attack in its track. Not only that, but it will prevent necrosis (deatrh) of the heart cells.
I believe there may be 'something' to my theory for an effective energy boost using cayenne in jam. To me, it works better than a cup of coffee.

Will have to try that…haven’t had jelly in years though
