My dad was an electrician. My mom was a teacher

Middle class family that taught my brother and I common sense values.

Such as

Respect other people’s property.
Respect seniors.
Treat others as they treat you.

I could list more.

But that’s it.

That’s the type of values my parents pushed.

All the other stuff was them telling us to find our own dreams.

I knew what my parents did. It does not matter. What did matter has they raised us pretty well.

They wanted us to follow our hearts.

So not sure why it matters what they did.
