I seem to remember they actually took the J&J off the market at one point… possibly very soon after Trump said he got the J&J. Or am I misremembering?

I don't remember them taking it off the market, but that is possible. I just may not have seen it.

It would not surprise me in the least to find out the J&J was just saline. It would have been a good move to counter covid, and it was developed and brought to market extremely fast.
